What to do if you need to reset, change, or add a password?

If you've signed up for an account using and email login type, you can manage your password from both the mobile app or the website. If you login with using a magic email link and do not yet have a password, you can still add a password using these steps.


Manage your password in the mobile app:

How to reset your password in the mobile app:

  1. Choose the sign-in option Continue with Phone or Email

  2. Enter your Email address and tap Continue

  3. You will receive a magic link in your inbox. Clicking this link will log you into the app

  4. To reset your password, tap Use password instead

  5. Tap Help found in the upper-right corner of the screen

  6. Choose the option Forgot Password

An email will be sent to reset the password if a corresponding account was detected.

If you did not receive an email, your email address might not be linked to any account or could be incorrect.

How to add a password in the mobile app:

If you're already logged in to the app, you can easily add a password if you'd like to set one.

  1. Click on the Me tab in the bottom right of the screen once you are in the app.

  2. Next, you'll need to click on your Settings at the top right of the screen.

  3. Tap your Name

  4. Tap Change Password.

  5. Send a reset link to your email address.

  6. Follow the link in your email to create a password.

  7. Once set, you will be able to login with either the magic link or your password.

  1. Log in to your Hallow account by clicking this link

  2. Click on Continue with Phone or Email

  3. Enter your email address

  4. You will receive a magic link in your inbox. Clicking this link will log you into the app

  5. To reset your password, tap Use password instead

  6. Click Forgot Password

If an account matches the email address you shared, a reset password link will be sent to that email. If you do not receive an email, it may be incorrect or not associated with a Hallow account.

How to add your password in the web app:

  1. Log in with your credentials by clicking on this link.

  2. Click on the three-bar icon ≡ in the top right of the screen

  3. Click Settings

  4. Under Account, tap Change Password.

  5. Add a New Password
