Location and Schedule

Each class runs from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with breakfast and a chef-catered lunch included.

Where to Stay When Visiting for the First Hand Workshop

If you're traveling to Chicago for the workshop, we can't wait to welcome you to our hometown. Over the years, we’ve hosted guests from around the world — and these are the hotels we genuinely recommend to friends and family when they visit.

All of these properties are within a 10-minute ride of our workshop, most right in the West Loop / Fulton Market neighborhood — one of the best places in the city to eat, stay, and explore.

The Emily Hotel

The Hoxton, Chicago

A beautifully designed hotel with a lively lobby, coffee bar, and rooftop restaurant. Effortlessly cool and very comfortable.

Practical (but still great)

(Often $160–220 per night)
