EXPAND -

Expand is displayed as the ! on the mobile app. By selecting the ! the driver is using this option to select one of the Exception options that have been preset as available by Admin. The driver does not have to use all options, can select the exception that matches the situation.

Exceptions saved under Expand are not forced use. The driver can complete or skip a stop without using an exception.

COMPLETE or SKIP -

Any data capture that is saved as Complete or Skip, is a forced exception every time your driver selects the action on the mobile app. We recommend only using this option in the situation where you need the driver to log an exception every time.

Examples for this use case:

  • Driver never logs an exception or note when they skip a stop and customers are complaining that they should not have been skipped. If you set the data capture to Service Review (photo and note) or Camera on Skip, this will force the driver to take a photo and or leave a note for every skipped stop. Selecting the X will automatically open the camera app and the driver cannot save the skip without a photo.

  • Serial Number on Complete. You want the driver to log the number and take a photo on every stop they complete. This option will force the driver to log the exception before completing the stop.

Setting any Data Capture to Complete or Skip will set the requirement of this exception every time the driver selects that button on the mobile app. Please use these configurations with caution.
