In the case where a driver is in a bad reception area for cell service but needs turn by turn driving instructions for their route, please follow these steps to download an offline map.

From the tablet, open Google Maps

Select your profile icon in the search bar and scroll down within the pop up to Offline Maps

Select your own map

Zoom in / out on the area you're needing the offline map for (we do recommend a larger area to ensure full coverage) and download.

With this downloaded map, as the driver enters an area with bad reception, the turn by turn instructions can still be accessed via the map.

We highly recommend the driver download the map to their area while in a strong wifi signal. This will ensure that the map downloads correctly.
