Updated over 2 months ago

Who Can Edit SSSPs?

  • Premium and Complete subscription customers

  • Hub Admin and Hub User roles

When to Update your Site Specific Safety Plan

Your SSSP should be updated whenever project conditions change to ensure it accurately reflects current site conditions and maintains compliance. Common reasons to update your SSSP include:

Site Changes:

  • New hazards are identified during construction

  • Additional controls are implemented to manage risks

  • Work becomes notifiable

Personnel Changes:

  • Site supervisors or other key roles change on-site

  • Emergency contact details need updating

Safety Updates:

  • Emergency plan details are changed e.g. emergency equipment locations

  • Assembly points or evacuation routes are modified

  • New safety procedures are implemented

How to Edit Your Site Specific Safety Plan

  1. Open your Project Overview from the Projects list

  2. Click 'Project Options' in the top right corner

  3. Select 'Edit Project' from the dropdown menu

  4. Update any section of your SSSP as needed:

    • General Information (project details, supervisor contacts)

    • Emergency Information (contacts, equipment locations, procedures)

    • Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment

    • Safety on Site (PPE requirements, meeting schedules)

    • Any other SSSP sections requiring changes

  5. Save your changes when complete

Automatic SSSP Regeneration

Your SSSP gets automatically regenerated, updated and attached to the Project after you save any changes. The updated SSSP becomes immediately accessible from both the App and Hub, ensuring all team members always have access to the most current information.

Please Note: It can take a few seconds for the document to generate after saving updates. If you try to download the SSSP during this period, you'll see a message that the document is being generated. The SSSP will download to your browser automatically as soon as it has been created.

Keeping Your Team Updated

Once your SSSP is updated:

  • All team members accessing the project via the Hub will see the latest version

  • Site workers using the App will automatically receive the updated SSSP when they scan onto site

  • New contractors added to the project will receive the current SSSP version

Important Notes

  1. Full editing capability is only available for new projects ordered after December 11 2025. Projects ordered before this date can only be partially edited via the Hub. Contact our support team if you need to edit additional details of an older project.

  2. Version Control: The system maintains only the current version of your SSSP. Previous versions are not accessible via the Hub, so if desired download a copy of your SSSP before editing and ensure all changes are accurate before saving.
