Who Can Use Project Templates?
Premium and Complete Customers:

What Are Project Templates?
Project templates are saved Construction Phase Plans (CPP) that contain your safety plan answers including:
Emergency procedures and contact information
Site hazards identification and risk controls
Required PPE selections
Site review and toolbox meeting frequencies
Standard safety protocols for similar project types
Templates allow you to reuse safety plan configurations across multiple projects, significantly reducing setup time for similar work.
Creating a Project Template
There are three ways to create project templates in HazardCo:
Method 1: Save During Project Ordering (Recommended for First Template)
When ordering a new project, you can save it as a template at the same time.
Click Create New Project to start a new project order
Complete pages 1 and 2 (Basic Details and Project Type Selection)
On page 3 (Construction Phase Plan), look for the "Save as template" checkbox at the top of the safety form
Tick the checkbox to enable template creation
If you have no project templates currently saved, this checkbox will be automatically ticked by default
You must enter a template name before you can proceed to the order summary page
Enter a descriptive template name in the field provided
Template names must be unique within your company
Complete your Construction Phase Plan as normal
Continue through the project ordering process
When you complete your order, your project will be created AND a template will be saved automatically
Method 2: Save an Existing Project as a Template
This is useful when you've completed a project and want to reuse its safety plan configuration.

Click the Project Options menu in the top right corner
Select Save as Template from the dropdown menu
Enter a descriptive template name that clearly identifies what type of project this template should be used for
Click Save to create your template
Please Note:
Saving a project as a template doesn't modify or affect the original project
The template will contain all safety plan information from that project
