How to enable/disable LinkSafe notifications that send when contractors who haven't been approved scan onto your site

What you need to get started:

  • A HazardCo account on a Premium subscription

  • A LinkSafe account enabled and connected to your HazardCo account

  • A login with the role of Hub Admin or Hub User


Inviting contractors to complete a pre-qualification from LinkSafe

  1. Login to the HazardCo Hub

  2. Click on the 'My Contractors' option in the left hand menu

  3. Click on the 'Options' menu and select the 'LinkSafe Notifications' option

  4. There are two types of notifications that can be enabled/disabled:

    Site supervisor email notifications - When this setting is enabled an email notification will be sent to the site supervisor whenever an individual scans onto a site and they are not approved within LinkSafe system.

    ​In-app attention required notifications - When this setting is enabled a blue screen as shown below will be displayed in the App when a worker scans in who hasn't been approved within your LinkSafe. The screen lets the worker know that attention is required and that you will be in contact with them to complete the pre-site induction approval process.


    ​Please note: When your LinkSafe account is created these notifications will be disable by default. You can enable them when you are ready, we recommend turning them on once you have sent, received and approved your contractor pre-qualifications.
