Who Can Scan In On-site?

  • Anyone can download the HazardCo App, create a free account, and use it to scan on-site.

How to Scan In On-site:

  1. Open the HazardCo App and tap the 'Scan into a site' at the top of the Home screen or in the bottom menu.

  2. Scan the site's QR code, typically found on the Hazard board at the site's entrance.

  3. Upon scanning, you'll see important site information like the Site Owner, Site Specific Safety Plan (SSSP), and emergency details.

First-Time Site Visit:

  1. Familiarise yourself with the site emergency details and review the SSSP by selecting "View SSSP" if you haven't already done so.

  2. Confirm your contact details

  3. Answer a health and wellness question to confirm you are fit for work.

  4. Answer the questions about your work competency, site rules and processes.

Note: You must complete these steps to be allowed on site. If you are unable to meet any criteria, then contact the Site Supervisor to discuss.

  5. If your answers are satisfactory, you'll be scanned into the site. Your scan-in and induction responses, along with any uploaded certifications (e.g., White Cards, Trade licenses), are sent to the site owner.

For Future Visits:

  • On subsequent visits, only the health screening questions are required.

To Leave a Site:

  1. Tap the "Leave Site" button in the bottom menu and confirm you're leaving.

  2. The system records the time and date you left, informing the site owner.

If You Forget to Leave a Site:

  • After 12 hours: Your status turns orange as an alert to the site manager.

  • After 24 hours: Your status turns red as an alert to the site manager

  • Expect to be contacted by the site manager to confirm your safety and departure.

Using the "Leave Site" feature ensures accurate tracking of your presence on-site, enhancing safety and communication.
