Who can create a Plant/Machinery Pre-Start?
If you have Complete, Premium, or Standard Plan:
You can create Mobile Plant and Machinery Pre-Starts using both the App and the Hub.
The Plant/Machinery Pre-Start feature in the HazardCo App is designed to streamline your record keeping, providing you with a digital record of pre-start checks for various types of machinery and & equipment. Whether you’re using elevating work platforms like Scissor Lifts and Boom Lifts or, Excavators, Trucks, Tractors, Rollers, Graders, or any other machinery, this feature helps you to ensure it is safe and ready to operate.
How to create a Pre-Start:
Find and open the HazardCo App. Scroll down on the Home screen or tap “Create” at the bottom right of the main screen to find “Plant/Machinery Pre-Start” in the list, and click on it.
Fill in the Machinery Details questions on screen and tap “next” at the bottom of your screen.
Tap yes or no on whether this machinery requires a logbook. If you have tapped “yes”, please add a photo of the logbook filled in. If you have tapped no, please answer the questions on the screen. Then click “next” at the bottom of your screen.

4. Add additional information, if you have any. Click “create task” at the bottom of your screen if you want to track any necessary follow-up actions from the inspection.
5. Once you’re ready, click “submit” at the bottom right of your screen. Your Pre-Start will be saved, and you’ll see a notification come up saying “Plant/Machinery Pre-Start saved” with your form details listed below it.
6. You can view all of your complete Pre-start reports from the My Reports area in the App and the Hub

7. Once you've completed a checklist for a piece of equipment it will be selectable in your Machinery list the next time you create one. Simply click on the piece of machinery to create another checklist and the machinery details will be pre-populated in the checklist. You can also complete any draft pre-start reports by tapping on the Draft tab.
