Getting Started with HazardCo

A quick start guide on how to get up and running as a new HazardCo member and the things you may want to get started straight away. By no means the entire product! But enough to get you going.

Hey new HazardCo member! Great to have you on board, we’re really glad you’re taking your Health & Safety seriously and chose us to help make it as simple as possible. We’ve put together a quick and easy guide to get things off to a strong start.

Whether you’re new here or you’re just after a quick refresher on certain things, this article should help guide you through the key tasks you’d use HazardCo to help you with.

How to add your logo

Head to company settings on the HazardCo Hub, click upload logo in the top right corner, upload your image and click save. All sorted - your logo will now appear on all documentation produced through HazardCo.

How to add a team member

Go to company settings, team members, add new team member, input their details (first name, last name, contact number, email address, trade, responsibility, any trade certificates) and hit save.

How to create RAMS (Hub)

Go to reports, create, choose the type of RAMS you’d like from the dropdown, (with risk matrix or without) - from there, the system will guide you with the details it needs - however we’re just a call away and always willing to help if you get stuck. Call 020 4571 3920 and we can walk you through it all on the phone!

How to create RAMS (App)

Once you’re logged in to the HazardCo app, click on RAMS or RAMS with Risk Matrix on the home page (bottom left), if you have any templates, you’ll see them here. If not, hit Create New and begin to make your RAMS on the app - if the RAMS are likely to be reused - ensure you click Save As Template! Again, the app will guide you with the details it needs for your document - however we’re just a call away and always willing to help if you get stuck. Call 020 4571 3920 and we can walk you through it all on the phone!

How to add a contractor

Go to Contractors in the Hub, add contractor and input their details. It will require a Company name, Trade, First name, Last name and Email as mandatory, you can add their phone number here too if you’d like to. For Complete members, you can send your pre-qualification requirements to your contractor from here and once they have submitted the required document, you can view all of this within ‘Pre-Qual’ in the Hub.

How to create a Project (Construction Phase Plan)

Heads up - creating a project has to be done on the Hub. When you log in to the Hub, you’ll land on Projects. If you are not freshly logging in, navigate to Projects. You’ll need to go to Create Project, it will require details such as Project Name, Site Address, Description of Work, Work Type and length of Project (duration). Based on the length of your Project, the next step is to select the product you need to facilitate the work you're doing. From here, you’ll start to follow the guided textboxes. Same goes, we’re just a call away and always willing to help if you get stuck. Dial 020 4571 3920 and we can walk you through it all on the phone! Once everything is filled out, you’ll end on the page to submit your order and the Project cost will be charged directly to your account - no need to faff around with adding card details at this point! If your order includes a physical board, our team will turn this around quickly. Please expect prompt delivery, you’ll receive a UPS tracking number and this will include estimated delivery information.
