What you need
The HCB Mobile app on your phone (iPhone or Android), signed in to an organization that has donations enabled. Tap to Pay uses your phone's built-in contactless reader, so there's no extra hardware to buy.
How to accept a donation
Open your organization in the app and tap the Tap to Pay banner.
Enter the donation amount. You can also add the donor's name and email, but both are optional.
Tap Create Donation.
On the next screen, tap Tap to Pay.
Have the donor hold their contactless card, phone, or watch near your device.
The donation lands in your organization's HCB balance. If you entered the donor's email, they get a receipt automatically.
Tap only, no extra hardware
Tap to Pay accepts contactless taps only: a phone or watch with a mobile wallet, or a contactless card held near your device. It can't take a chip insert or a card swipe, and it doesn't support any add-on card-reader hardware.
