IMPORTANT

We shoot homes as-is, so it's extremely important to have the home 100% shoot-ready at the start of our scheduled appointment. Our photographers shoot multiple properties per day, and any on-site delays caused by a lack of preparedness may be subject to additional fees.

Please share this prep guide with the on-site agent AND the homeowner for the best results!

General notes

  1. Please have all contracting/cleaning work done before our arrival on-site.

  2. Please have any occupants/agents vacate the home during the full appointment slot. This ensures our photographers can focus on their work and leads to higher-quality content.

  3. Turn on all lights.

  4. Turn ceiling fans off.

  5. Pull up all blinds.

  6. Hide all trashcans.

  7. Remove pets, crates, and water bowls.

  8. De-personalize the home by removing all family photos.

Living room

  1. Remove clutter from tables.

  2. Hide remotes, cords, and wires if possible.

  3. Arrange pillows and blankets neatly.

  4. Turn off TVs

Kitchen

  1. Remove countertop appliances like toasters, microwaves, Keurig, and paper towels.

  2. Remove all fridge magnets and stickers.

  3. Hide trashcans.

  4. Add a fruit bowl if desired to spruce things up.

Bedrooms

  1. Make all beds.

  2. Remove any laundry.

  3. Remove clutter from underneath beds. Don't hide things under the beds—our camera can see them!

Bathrooms

  1. Remove any dirty towels/laundry bins.

  2. Remove countertop clutter (toothbrush, paste, hygiene products, etc).

  3. Remove soap and shampoo from the shower.

  4. Close all toilet seats.

Exterior

  1. Remove all cars from the driveway.

  2. Hide trashcans.

  3. Close garage doors.

  4. Remove any clutter from the lawn (garden hoses, tools, toys, etc).

  5. Clean sweep all patios.

  6. Make sure the grass has been cut recently!

We're looking forward to seeing you on-site!
