Anleitung

1. Open the Editor

  • Click on the small page icon in the editor to start editing the header and footer components.

  • Headers and footers are global components, meaning they will appear consistently throughout your project once published. Pay special attention to the publication process (Step 3).

2. Edit Header and Footer

In the Header and Footer section, you can customize all key settings.

Set Up the Header

  • Add a Logo: Upload your custom logo and adjust its size.

  • Configure for Mobile: Make sure to set up a separate configuration for the logo and title on mobile devices.

  • Additional Elements:

    • Add a search bar, mega menu, or a search overlay page.

    • Use the device preview to ensure the header displays correctly on various screen sizes.

Set Up the Footer

  • Add Legal Information: Include details such as an imprint, privacy policy, or contact information.
These are essential for both user experience and legal compliance.

3. Publish the Components

This step is crucial to make your changes visible to users:

  • Unpublished Components: If the header and footer are not published, they will have a blue border and remain invisible to users.

  • Publish Components:

    1. Click on the three dots of the respective component.

    2. Select Publish.
Once published, the component will have a green border, and the updates will be visible across the project.
