Overview
HealthArc integrates with Veradigm using FHIR R4 APIs and OAuth 2.0 authentication. Before the integration can begin, the practice must request API access from Veradigm and authorize the HealthArc application.
Prerequisites
Before beginning, ensure you have:
An active Veradigm Practice Fusion or Veradigm EHR account (as applicable)
Administrative access to your Veradigm environment
Permission to request API access
Your practice information available for onboarding
Part 1 – Request API Access
Step 1 – Submit a Partner Request
Open the Veradigm Developer Portal:
Partner Request Form https://developer.veradigm.com/Account/PartnerRequest
Complete the Partner Request form with the requested organization and contact information.
When prompted for integration details, provide:
Field | Value |
Application Name | HealthArc |
API Type | FHIR R4 |
Integration Purpose | HealthArc EHR Integration |
Submit the request.
A Veradigm representative will review your request and contact you regarding the onboarding process.
Step 2 – Contact Veradigm (Alternative)
If you are unable to access the Partner Request form or require assistance, contact Veradigm Connect directly.

The review process may include verification of the practice and the intended use of the APIs.
Part 3 – Obtain API Credentials

Once the application has been approved, Veradigm will provide the information required for integration.
Depending on your organization's configuration, this may include:

This authorization allows HealthArc to securely retrieve the approved clinical information using OAuth 2.0.
Part 6 – HealthArc Configuration
Step 7 – HealthArc Completes the Integration
Once the required credentials and authorizations have been received, the HealthArc implementation team will:
Configure the OAuth connection.

Important Notes
API access is not enabled immediately after submitting a Partner Request. Veradigm reviews and provisions each request before issuing credentials.
Production access typically requires both Veradigm approval and practice authorization.
Client IDs and Client Secrets are unique to the registered application and should be shared securely with the HealthArc implementation team.
HealthArc cannot configure the integration until the required credentials have been issued by Veradigm.
