Before you start
There are four outcome types you can choose from, and the right one depends on what happened in the consultation:
Service Provided — the appointment was conducted and you gave advice, but didn't prescribe or recommend any products.
Prescribed Product — you prescribed medication or recommended OTC items the patient will be charged for. You can also charge for delivery.
Advice Only — the only outcome was advice you'd like to send to the patient.
Refer to GP — the patient wasn't eligible for this service and you've referred them back to their GP for follow-up.
Recording an outcome will email the patient a summary based on the information you enter. If you've added prescribed products, the email also includes a secure payment link tied to your Stripe account. Once the patient pays, an order is generated at the top of your Pending stage.
Step 1 — Open the appointment
Navigate to https://connectme.healthera.co.uk/calendar.
Click on the appointment you'd like to record an outcome for (for example, "bob test").
On the appointment details page, click the Outcome tab.
Step 2 — Mark patient attendance
Under Patient attended, click Select.
Choose Attended or Not attended.
If the patient didn't attend, you can save here. If they did attend, continue to choose an outcome.
Step 3 — Choose the outcome
Click into the Outcome dropdown and select the option that best matches what happened in the consultation:
Service Provided
Prescribed Product
Advice Only
Refer to GP
ℹ️ An email will be sent to the patient with the outcome of their consultation based on the information you enter.
The next steps depend on which outcome you choose. Skip ahead to the section that matches:
Prescribed Product → continue to Step 4 below.
Service Provided / Advice Only / Refer to GP → skip to Step 7 (advice and saving).
Step 4 — Add a prescribed product
If you selected Prescribed Product:
Click into the Medicine name box and type the medication name (e.g. "Abx").
Click into the Price (£) box and type the amount you want to charge the patient (e.g. "9.90").
Toggle Patient exempt or VAT exempt if either applies.
Add more medicines or OTC products
To add another item, click Add medicine and repeat the steps above. You can list as many products as needed — for example, prescribed antibiotics plus an OTC pain reliever like "paracetamol" at "1.89".

💡 Tip: Use the × in the top right of any row to remove an item you've added by mistake.
Step 5 — Choose how the patient gets the items
Click into the Fulfilment method dropdown and select one of:
Delivery
Collection
Collection point (only available if your pharmacy is set up as a collection point)
If you choose Delivery, you'll need to fill in the patient's information.
Setting up delivery
Click into the Delivery option dropdown and choose Local.
Click into the Delivery price (£) box and type the amount to charge for delivery (e.g. "3").
⚠️ Important: This field is required. If you'd like to deliver free of charge, you must still enter
0.Fill in the patient's address:
Address line 1 — e.g. "36 Rectory Lane"
City — e.g. "Chelmsford"
Postal code — e.g. "CM1 1RE"
Step 6 — Confirm online payment
Make sure the Collect payment online toggle is on if you'd like the patient to receive a secure payment link in their outcome email.
Step 7 — Add advice for the patient (optional)
If you'd like to include any written advice in the patient's outcome email, click into the Advice to patient box and type your message.
This is useful for things like aftercare instructions, medication usage guidance, or follow-up recommendations.
Step 8 — Save the outcome
Once you're happy with everything, click Save outcome.
What happens next
An email is sent to the patient summarising the outcome.
If you added prescribed products and Collect payment online is on, the email includes a secure payment link tied directly to your Stripe account. Funds are paid out on your set Stripe schedule.
Once the patient pays, an order is generated at the top of your Pending stage, ready for fulfilment.
Internal notes
If you'd like to record any internal-only notes about the consultation (visible to your pharmacy team but not sent to the patient), use the Internal note box at the bottom of the Outcome tab and click Save note.
