Before you start
Email invites are free.
SMS invites cost £0.05 each when sent individually. If you're sending a multi-text (bulk) invite, Healthera covers the cost for you.
After a patient signs up via the secure link, they'll appear at the top of your patient list, ready for ordering and bookings.
You can see how many invites you've sent (email vs. text) at the top right of the Patients page.
Step 1 — Open the Patients page
Navigate to https://connect.healthera.co.uk/repeats/requested/.
Click the Patients tab in the left-hand menu.
Click Invites in the top right of the Patients page.
Choose your invite method from the list:
Email Invite
Text Invite
Sending an Email Invite
When you select Email Invite, a pop-up will appear titled "Invite My Patient by Email".
1. Enter the patient's first name
Click into the First name field and type the patient's first name (e.g. "Jade").
2. Enter the patient's last name
Click into the Last name field and type the patient's last name (e.g. "Test").
3. Enter the patient's email address
Click into the Email address field and type the patient's email (e.g. "jade.wilton+testing@healthera.co.uk").
4. Send the invite
Once you're happy the details are correct, click Invite Patient.
ℹ️ By clicking Invite Patient, you confirm that the patient has given consent for you to use their email address.
What happens next
The patient receives an email letting them know you're using a new system, with their unique secure link. Once they sign up via the link, they'll appear at the top of your patient list.
Sending a Text (SMS) Invite
When you select Text Invite from the Invites menu, a pop-up will appear titled "Invite My Patient by Text".
💡 Cost reminder: Individual text invites cost £0.05 each. Multi-text (bulk) invites are covered by Healthera at no charge to you.
1. Enter the patient's first name
Click into the First name field and type the patient's first name (e.g. "Jade").
2. Enter the patient's last name
Click into the Last name field and type the patient's last name (e.g. "Test").
3. Enter the patient's phone number
Click into the Phone number field and type the patient's mobile number (e.g. "07788991122").
4. Send the invite
Once you're happy the details are correct, click Invite Patient.
ℹ️ By clicking Invite Patient, you confirm that the patient has given consent for you to use their contact number.
What happens next
The patient receives a text message with their unique secure invite link. Once they sign up via the link, they'll appear at the top of your patient list.
Why inviting matters
The secure invite link ties the patient to your pharmacy at sign-up. Without it, patients can occasionally end up nominating to a different pharmacy by mistake when they sign up to Healthera independently. Sending invites is the safest way to make sure your patients land with you.
