🔎 Discover Shifts

  • Shows eligible shifts where you are not already booked for the date and time or for a date and time that falls within our rules for restricting back-to-back shifts

  • Shows all eligible shifts regardless of availability (unless you filter the list, details below)

  • In addition, eligible shifts are based on grade as follows

For Carers:

  • The shift is for HCA and you are an HCA, HCA/SW, HCA-SENIOR or HCA-MEDS

  • And, the client has the areas Care Home and/or Residential Home and/or Nursing Home and you have the corresponding matching area(s)

  • Or, you have worked with the client before

For Support Workers:

  • The shift is for Support Worker and you are a Support Worker, HCA/SW, RGN/SW, RGN/HCA/SW or HCA-SNR/SW

  • And, the client has the areas Learning Disabilities Adults and Challenging Behaviour Adults and you have the corresponding matching areas

  • Or, you have worked with the client before

For Nurses:

  • The shift is for RGN, RMN or RGN/RMN and you are an RGN, RMN or RGN/RMN

  • And, you have at least 50% of the areas that match the client required areas

  • Or, you have worked with the client before

🔔 Notifications

You will see all eligible shifts in Discover Shifts regardless of availability, however you will also receive notifications about new shifts where:

  • Your availability matches 50% or greater, and

  • The distance to the shift (one way) is less than the distance you have said you're willing to travel

🎚Filter - Show shifts that match my availability

You can filter the shifts you see in Discover Shifts by visiting the 'Filters' section (top right) and turning on 'Only show shifts that match my availability'. This will filter the shifts to show only those where:

  • Your availability matches 50% or greater, and

  • The distance to the shift (one way) is less than the distance you have said you're willing to travel
