This article explains how to turn off Developer Mode on your Android phone after completing the extraction process. Instructions may vary slightly depending on your device model or Android version, such as Samsung or Pixel. This also includes steps to re-enable AutoBlocker if it was disabled.
Turn Off Developer Mode
Disable Developer Mode in your phone’s settings to return your device to normal security settings.
Step 1: Open your phone’s Settings app.
Step 2: Go to System > Developer options.
On Samsung devices, go to Settings > Developer options.
Step 3: At the top of the screen, toggle the main switch to turn Developer options off.
Developer Mode (including USB debugging and Stay awake) is now disabled.
Re-enable AutoBlocker (Samsung only)
If you turned off AutoBlocker, turn it back on to restore your phone to the same security settings.
This setting is only available on Samsung devices running Android 14 or later.
To turn AutoBlocker back on:
Open the Settings app.
Tap Security and privacy.
Tap Auto Blocker.
Toggle AutoBlocker back on.
