How to change the name of a case

Change a case name in the Hearsay portal to update how it appears across your dashboard and reports.

This article explains how to rename an existing case from Case Settings. It includes how to locate the Case Name tab, edit the case title, and save your changes. Once updated, the new name is applied everywhere the case appears in the portal.


Step 1: Open Case Settings

After opening the case, click the Settings tab.

Step 2: Select the Case Name tab

Click the Case Name tab in the left panel.​


​Step 3: Rename the case

Enter the new case name in the Case Name field. Once the name is entered, the Save Changes button will activate. Click Save Changes.

View the updated name

The case name will now be updated across the platform, including your dashboard and reports.
