How to Turn Off Developer Mode (Android)

How to turn off Developer Mode and USB debugging on your Android phone after completing a collection, including re-enabling Auto Blocker for Samsung devices.

This article explains how to turn off Developer Mode on your Android phone after completing the collection process. Instructions may vary slightly depending on your device model or Android version. This also includes steps to re-enable Auto Blocker if it was disabled.

Disable Developer Mode in your phone's settings to return your device to its normal security settings.

Step 1: Open your phone's Settings

On Samsung devices, go to SettingsDeveloper options. On other Android devices, go to SettingsSystemDeveloper options.

Step 2: Turn Developer options off

At the top of the screen, toggle the main switch to turn Developer options off. Developer Mode (including USB debugging) is now disabled.


Re-enable Auto Blocker (Samsung only)

If you turned off Auto Blocker before the collection, turn it back on to restore your phone's security settings.

Step 1: Open the Settings app

Open the Settings app and tap Security and privacy. Then tap Auto Blocker.

Step 2: Toggle Auto Blocker on

At the top of the screen, toggle Auto Blocker back on.
