I. What is the M1 In-Person Recorder?
The In-Person Recorder is M1's built-in voice memo tool designed for meetings, interviews, or spoken notes you want to capture outside of phone calls. With just a tap, you can:
Record conversations in real time
Get high-accuracy transcripts
Receive AI-powered summaries with key points and action items
II. Why use the In-Person Recorder?

III. How to start a voice memo
Open the M1 app
On the main screen, tap the red floating button labeled In-Person Recorder (a red dot)
Tap once to begin recording (a timer will display your progress)
Tap again to stop recording
M1 will automatically transcribe and summarize the memo for you
Advanced recording features
With Live Activity support, your recording continues even if you minimize the app or lock your screen, with status updates visible at a glance.
If your voice recording is interrupted by a phone call, the recorder will resume automatically once the call ends, so you won’t lose your notes.
IV. How to access and share your memos
All voice memos and meeting summaries are saved under the Memos tab at the top of your M1 inbox.

V. How to disable the floating button
If you prefer not to see the In-Person Recorder button:
Go to the Settings tab in the M1 app
Scroll to the Customize section
Toggle off In-Person Recorder
