With M1, you now have two options to manage your conversations: archiving and deleting.

āž”ļø Archiving conversations

Archiving removes the conversation from your main inbox but doesn’t delete it. To archive a conversation:

1. Long press on the chat you’d like to archive.

2. Tap on ā€œArchive.ā€

You can access all archived conversations by going to the ā€œArchivedā€ tab from the Inbox screen.

āž”ļø Deleting conversations

You can now permanently delete entire conversations in M1. Deleting a conversation removes the whole history with that contact—including call transcripts & summaries, voicemails, voice notes, and text messages. However, it is not possible to delete individual messages within a conversation.

To delete a conversation:

• Swipe left on the conversation you want to delete and tap ā€œDeleteā€ or

• Long press on the conversation and select ā€œDeleteā€.

āš ļø Once deleted, the conversation cannot be recovered.

Important note for M1 contacts

If you don’t see the option to delete a conversation with specific contacts, it’s likely because those contacts are also M1 users. We are aware of this limitation and are actively working to add the ability to archive and delete conversations with M1 contacts in a future update.
