Changing your ringtone on your iPhone is a great way to personalize your device. Plus, our app M1 will automatically use your selected ringtone, including any custom tones you’ve set up for specific contacts!

Steps to Change Your Ringtone

  1. Open Settings: Tap on the Settings app on your iPhone’s home screen.

  2. Navigate to Sounds & Haptics: Scroll down and select Sounds & Haptics.

  3. Select Ringtone: Tap on Ringtone at the top of the list.

  4. Choose Your Ringtone: You’ll see a list of available ringtones. Tap on any ringtone to hear a preview.

  5. Set the Ringtone: Once you’ve found a ringtone you like, simply leave it selected. Your choice will be automatically saved.

Setting Custom Ringtones for Contacts (Optional)

If you’d like to assign specific ringtones to individual contacts:

  1. Open Contacts: Go to your Contacts app.

  2. Select a Contact: Tap on the contact you want to personalize.

  3. Edit Contact: Tap Edit in the top-right corner.

  4. Assign Ringtone: Scroll down and tap on Ringtone.

  5. Choose a Ringtone: Select the ringtone you’d like for this contact and tap Done.

  6. Save Changes: Tap Done again to save your changes.

Note: By customizing ringtones for your contacts on iOS, M1 will play these personalized tones when they reach out to you, making sure you know who's calling without looking.
