Our Cleanse 3-In-1 Facial Cleanser does not foam because it does not contain Sodium Lauryl (Laureth) Sulfate (SLS) or other detergent-based foaming agents.

Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) is the primary foaming agent found in shampoos, bath gels, "bar" soaps, dish detergents, laundry detergents, and even car washes. It is a dispersing agent, emulsifier, degreaser, and foamer.

The Environmental Working Group (EWG) lists the following concerns with SLS: Irritation (skin, eyes, or lungs), organ system toxicity (non-reproductive), and ecotoxicology.
