To fully enable Heatmap functionality on your WordPress / WooCommerce site, you'll need to install the Heatmap Plugin. Installing this will allow Heatmap to properly track all customer interactions and revenue data.
Accessing your Heatmap Tracking Plugin:
In order to access your code plugin, you can follow these steps below:
Go to the Settings tab within your portal.
Click "Snippet"
Here you will see the plugin .zip file available to download.
Installing the Heatmap plugin to your WordPress website:

Follow these step-by-step instructions to ensure proper installation:
Download the Heatmap WordPress / Woocommerce Plugin as a .zip file.
You do not need to open the .zip file, you can upload it directly to your store.
From your WordPress dashboard, choose Plugins > Add New.
Click Upload Plugin at the top of the page.
Click Choose File, locate the plugin .zip file, and then click Install Now.
After the installation is complete, click Activate Plugin.
After a successful installation of the Heatmap-tracker plugin, it will be listed as part of the installed plugins in your plugin dashboard.
Plugin Installation Verification
After installation and official verification on the heatmap platform, wait about 12 hours for data to start appearing in your heatmap dashboard. To verify your plugin:
Log in to your Heatmap.com account and go to the Settings tab within your portal.
Click "Snippet"
Click the "Verify My Snippet" button in the bottom right corner.
You'll receive a pop-up validating if the snippet was installed correctly. If you don't see any data after 24 hours or believe there is a data collection issue, double-check that both snippets are correctly installed.
