Go to the Surveys section in your Heatmap dashboard
Click Create New Survey
Choose your survey type
Add a title and description
Use the drag-and-drop builder to create your questions
Customize the colors and appearance
Click Publish Survey to save, and you’ll be live!
What question types can I include in my surveys?
You can choose from a variety of question types:
Multiple choice (checkboxes)
Single choice (radio buttons)
Rating scales (e.g. 1–5, customizable)
How can I customize the appearance of my surveys?
It’s easy! Go to the Survey Design button to personalize your survey with your company’s branding to increase the number of submissions. Customize elements such as:
Your brand logo
Background, button, and text colors
Font sizes and styles

How do I share a survey with customers?
Once you create a survey, you can share the link with your customers to start getting responses.
Sharing your survey is simple:
Go to the Surveys section in your Heatmap dashboard
Select the survey you'd like to send
Click Copy Link to copy the survey link
Paste and share the link via email, social media, or any other preferred channel

Managing your Surveys
Where can I see my survey responses?
Survey responses appear within minutes of submission.
To access your survey results:
Go to the Surveys section in your dashboard
Click on the survey you want to review
Select the Responses tab
Browse visual and detailed breakdowns by question type (e.g., charts for multiple choice or rating questions)
What analytics are available for surveys?
Each survey includes performance data, so you can track engagement and effectiveness.
You’ll be able to see:
Total Impressions
Surveys Started
Abandoned Surveys
Completed Surveys
Can I edit a survey after it’s published?
Yes, surveys can be edited at any time. Just note that significant changes to questions (like changing types or removing options) may affect how you compare responses over time.
How do I duplicate or delete a survey?
In the Surveys section of your dashboard:
To duplicate, click the Duplicate button next to the survey
To delete, click the Delete button next to the survey you want to remove
