Create an API Key in Heatmap
To access the Heatmap API:
Request access by reaching out to support@heatmap.com
Log out of your Heatmap account, then log back in.
Go to Settings.
Select Access Control.
Click Create Keys.
Follow the on-screen instructions to generate your API key.
If you cannot see the Access Control tab, clear your browser cookies and log in again.

Connect Heatmap MCP to Claude
To set up Heatmap MCP in Claude:
Open Connectors in your Claude environment.
Click the + icon next to Connectors.
Select Add Custom Connector.
Enter the following details:
Name: Heatmap MCP
Server URL: https://mcp.heatmapcore.com/mcp
Click Add, then select Connect.
You will be redirected to Heatmap to log in and approve the connection.
Once the connection is authorized, Heatmap MCP will be available in your Claude chats.
Using a Company Claude Account
If you are using Claude through your company, an administrator may need to add or approve the Heatmap MCP connector for your workspace.
