Every website has a footer. It's a non-negotiable, right?

Let us show you how you would optimize your footer while using heatmap.com.

Here's a video for you πŸ‘‡if you want more detail keep scrolling.

Three Ways to Optimize Footers using Heatmap.com

  1. Prioritize elements in the footer that generate high revenue per click or session.

  2. Rearrange and de-prioritize elements that are not performing well.

  3. Consider rewriting footer content to improve conversion and engagement.

  • Examine specific elements in a footer, such as "About Us," "Careers," and various product categories.

  • Removing or optimize elements that do not contribute to clicks or sales -> for instance on the above example - Facebook + Pinterest icons aren't driving any clicks at all - you could remove them or add a different social media platform.

  • Prioritize the elements that generate revenue. (See image #2)

  • If elements of your footer are needed but aren't driving any sort of interaction, rewrite the title or find a new way to communicate why customers should click. (example in the video)

Your footer will always be there, but what will it do for your business. It's a small percentage but one that could lift your whole business up. Don't forget about it!
