Heepsy uses several independent credit pools, one per feature area. Each resets at the start of your billing cycle. Here's exactly how each one is consumed.
Search results credits
Running an AI search, lookalike search, or text-match search and loading a page of results consumes 24 credits per page — the first page and every subsequent page you load (pagination) cost 24 credits each.
Searching for a creator by their exact handle (e.g. typing a specific @username) is the one exception: it costs just 1 credit, flat, regardless of search mode.
Re-viewing the exact same, unchanged search (same query, same filters) does not consume credits again — you're seeing cached results.
Changing a filter or entering a new query counts as a brand-new search and is charged again at the same rate (24 credits for its first page) — refining your filters is not free, it's treated the same as starting over.
Saving creators in bulk is counted separately from viewing: creators you've already viewed (i.e., ones inside pages you've already paid credits for) can be added to a project for free. But if you bulk-select beyond what you've already viewed — for example using "Select all" to grab 100 creators you haven't loaded yet — that consumes 1 additional search credit per creator added.
Advanced profile credits
Unlocking a creator's advanced profile (audience insights, performance metrics, and contact details where available) consumes 1 advanced profile credit per creator, the first time you unlock them within the current billing cycle. Re-opening that same profile again later in the same cycle is free. However, the unlock does not carry over: when your billing cycle renews each month, all previously unlocked profiles re-lock, and viewing one again in the new cycle consumes another advanced profile credit.
Outreach credits
First message to a creator — 1 credit.
Bulk email — sending a first message to multiple creators at once applies the same rule per recipient: emailing 50 creators in bulk consumes 50 credits.
Follow-up to a creator who hasn't replied — 1 additional credit.
Replies within an existing thread, once the creator has responded, are free — the conversation doesn't consume further credits.
The credit estimate shown when scheduling a bulk send with follow-ups is a maximum, not what's charged upfront. For example, sending 50 bulk outreach emails with a follow-up configured shows an estimate of 100 credits (50 initial + 50 follow-up). Only the first batch is actually consumed at send time — in this example, 50 credits for the 50 initial emails. The follow-up credits are only deducted later, as each follow-up actually goes out, and only to creators who still match your chosen follow-up target (e.g. "only those who haven't opened/replied"). Since some recipients may be excluded by the time the follow-up fires, the final total consumed can end up lower than the estimate you saw when setting it up.
Content & creator tracking credits
Tracked creators — this is a "live slot," not a one-time spend: starting content monitoring on a creator uses 1 tracking credit for as long as that monitoring stays active (Starter 5 concurrent/month, Plus 100, Advanced 400 — not available on Free). Pausing a creator's monitoring returns that credit, freeing it up so you can start tracking a different creator instead. The limit is about how many creators you can monitor at once, not a running monthly counter.
Content added via URL: manually adding a piece of content by pasting its link uses 1 credit per URL added (Starter 10/month, Plus 200/month, Advanced 800/month).
Manually uploaded media (uploading a file/image directly to the Content Gallery, not via a URL) uses no credits at all — unlimited.
To see exactly how many credits you have left in each pool, go to Settings → Credits. For the monthly allowance included in your plan, check the Pricing page. If you run out before your cycle renews, paid plans can buy additional credits at any time from the Credits page.
