Welcome to Heidiā€™s exciting new platform lineup! Weā€™re thrilled to introduce our mobile app, desktop app, and Chrome extension, each designed to enhance your Heidi experience across devices. Below, youā€™ll find everything you need to get started with each app.

Check out the demo from our CEO Dr Tom Kelly:
ā€‹

1. Heidi Mobile App

The Heidi mobile app offers the flexibility to record sessions on-the-go, even in low-bandwidth or offline environments. Unlike the web app, Heidi on mobile enables you to switch apps, lock your screen, and keep recording seamlessly.

Find out more about the mobile app here

Key Features:

  • Offline & Low Bandwidth: Perfect for locations with limited internet access.

  • Background Recording: Allows screen locking and app switching without interrupting recordings.

  • Easy Session Management: Start new sessions, access past recordings, and generate notesā€”all from your mobile device.

How to Get Started:

  1. Download the Mobile App from our Downloads page, or search Heidi in the app store.

  2. Log in to access your sessions and settings.

  3. Start Recording: Begin a new session or select a past recording to review.

  4. Feedback & More: Use the feedback option to share your thoughts and experiences with us.

2. Heidi Desktop App

For a more stable, enhanced experience, the Heidi desktop app is available on both Windows and Mac. Designed especially for telehealth, it supports Bluetooth headphones and reduces the chance of interruptions from other applications.

Find out more about the desktop app here

Key Features:

  • Bluetooth Headphones Support: Enables recording even with Bluetooth devices, ensuring a seamless experience.

  • System-Level Audio Capture: Heidi can capture audio directly from your system, allowing smooth operation in multitasking situations.

  • Increased Stability: Ideal for those who use Heidi extensively or in telehealth settings.

How to Get Started:

  1. Download and install the Heidi desktop app from our website.

  2. Set up your audio preferences to ensure Heidi captures all essential conversations.

  3. Start Recording: Begin your session and let Heidi transcribe in the background.

  4. Review & Note Generation: Once your session ends, Heidi will automatically generate a structured note based on your conversation.

šŸ’” For everyday use in tele health or for a more reliable experience, the desktop app is generally more stable than the web browser.

3. Heidi Chrome Extension

The Heidi Chrome extension brings Heidiā€™s functionality directly into your web-based EHR system, allowing you to document sessions without leaving the tab.

Find out more about the chrome extension here

Key Features:

  • EHR Compatibility: Works with any browser-based EHR, making it easy to integrate Heidi into your existing workflow.

  • Easy Note Sectioning: Copy individual sections of notes with a single click, matching your EHR's template.

  • Flexible Session Management: Review past sessions or start new ones directly from the widget.

How to Get Started:

  1. Install the Chrome extension by following the link provided on our website.

  2. Pin the Heidi icon to your Chrome toolbar for quick access.

  3. Open Your EHR and click the Heidi icon to start a session or review past ones.

  4. Customisable Templates: Create a template that matches your EHRā€™s format for easy one-click integration into your records.

General Tips

  • For Telehealth Users: We recommend the desktop app for stable performance and Bluetooth compatibility.

  • For Mobile Use: Use the mobile app for convenient recording on-the-go, even with app switching or screen locking.

  • For low network coverage: Use the Heidi Mobile app, it will use your local system to keep a backup of the transcription until you go online. Once you are online just hit resume on that session, and stop and it will produce the transcript for you.

  • For Web-Based EHR: The Chrome extension is ideal for quick and seamless note-taking directly within your EHR.
