How long will the consult information be stored?

Since Heidi consult recordings are transcribed in real-time, the audio recordings are never stored and can't be accessed at a later time.

Users are also able to upload consultation voice recordings for transcription. This provides users with the option to consent to the storage of their recordings for subsequent analysis and review, in alignment with our commitment to data protection and compliance standards.

For auditing purposes, is it possible to store the transcript?

Transcripts can be accessed for auditing or other reasons. You can specify how long you wish them to be stored via your account settings page.


Who has access to the consult information?

Your consult information is only accessible to yourself.

Only you will receive the clinical notes generated from the recording. This information can then be copied into your hospital's or clinic's practice management system, where patient records are kept.


Do you sell data to third parties?

Absolutely not. At Heidi, we hold a strong commitment to your privacy and security.

We never engage in the practice of selling patient or clinician data to anyone. Your data is safe and strictly confidential.


Data being stored overseas

We understand the importance of data security and privacy and we're committed to safeguarding your information. We have implemented data localization solutions for customers located in Australia, Canada, US, and UK, with strict adherence to jurisdiction specific standards, including HIPAA, GDPR, PIPEDA, PHIPA, and PIPA.
