All you need to know to get started with Heidi!

How do I create an account with Heidi?

To create an account with Heidi head to sign up at https://www.heidihealth.com/ once you are there follow these steps:

  • click on the sign up button in the top right hand side.

  • Select “book a demo” or “try it yourself”

We Recommend you click Try it Yourself

  • After you have clicked Try it yourself, we will take you through a short demo - it is important to note that this is a demo, and you should not take a consult until you have created your account.

  • Finish the demo - pay attention, there is some good tips there

  • Once you have completed the demo - enter your profile details and create your account

  • From there you can get started using Heidi for Free Forever, upgrade to Pro or invite your team members along.

How Can I Get My Team on Heidi?

To get your team on Heidi head over to the Team tab, and invite your users, Heidi Teams are available to Pro, and Together users. The team owner will be the billing admin. If you would like to set up more accounts, or want to discuss your options you can reach out to support and we can assist.

What's Included in the Free Plan?

Included in the Free Forever plan is note generation, you are able to generate unlimited notes using generic templates in Transcription, or unlimited dictations. However, the Free Forever plan limits users to only 10 Pro Actions per month, the pro actions are:

  • Create a note using a custom template

  • Use Heidi AI tools to edit notes, or create a document

  • Create a second document from your initial note

How can I get the most out of Heidi?

To get the most out of Heidi we recommend utilising our Pro, or Together tier, which gives you unlimited AI prompts and custom templates.

We also have a Desktop App, a Mobile App, and a Google Chrome Extension that each help solve different workflows. Explore how our different applications can be used to help you get the most out of your work. Use Heidi Everywhere

Is there a Heidi App?

Yes, there is a Heidi App. You can download the app on your preferred mobile device by following the links below:

Once downloaded, log in with your existing account to access all your data and continue working seamlessly across your devices.

Can Heidi be used in a Telehealth consult?

Heidi's Desktop App allows Heidi to be used in a Telehealth consult. We have a Heidi Desktop App for Mac, or PC, this allows Heidi to pick up headphones, and work more seamlessly with Telehealth. You can download the app here.

Can Heidi be used without an internet connection?

Heidi requires an internet connection to generate output. However, if you are using the Heidi Mobile App, it will support a backup while offline. The transcription will happen once Heidi get's online.

What browsers are compatible with Heidi?

Heidi is compatible with major browsers such as Chrome, Safari and Microsoft Edge.

How to set up my device to work with Heidi?

  1. Make sure you have a stable internet connection

  2. Allow Heidi as much RAM as it needs, close any unnecessary tabs or apps on your devices

  3. Check, and check again that the Heidi volume bar is picking up.

  4. Make sure your device does not go to sleep

    1. Different devices have different settings, so assure the device you are using is set up not to go to sleep during the consult.

      1. MacOS (Desktop device)

        Go to System settings, Lock screen, “Turn display off on battery when inactive Never”, or “Turn display off on power adapter when inactive Never”

      2. Apple OS (Mobile Device)

        You can set how long it takes iPhone to automatically lock.

        • Go to Settings > Display & Brightness > Auto-Lock, then choose a length of time.

      3. Windows (Desktop device)

        Disable or adjust lock screen settings Open "Settings". Click "Personalise" and then select "Lock screen". Ensure that "Screen timeout settings" is set to Longer or Never

      4. Android (Mobile Device.

        1. Follow these steps:

          1. Go to the Apps Drawer.

          2. Open Settings.

          3. Select Display.

          4. Select Advanced (Skip for older Android versions).

          5. Select Screen timeout or Sleep.

          6. Select the desired timeout: 15 seconds - 30 minutes or Never (limited to specific models).

  5. Allow Heidi to load entirely before pressing any other buttons, if you have hit stop recording let the screen produce the note before trying anything else. Similarly when you open up let the page fully load before you hit start recording.

  6. Do a test consult before each by just recording a minute or so of conversation you can delete this after you have seen all is working, then start a new session.
