When you start and stop transcribing, a consult summary or dictation is generated depending on which mode you prefer. Consult summaries are a base clinical note that you can use to further refine the output or create other documents via the template and Ask Heidi function.
How do I start a consult?
Simply press 'Start recording' to transcribe, and you will see a wavelength appear meaning Heidi has started transcribing!
How do I end a session?
To end a session, simply hit 'Stop recording' in the top right hand corner. You can then select your template or note structure you would like to produce your summary notes in, and then see your consult notes or dictation appear in the 'Note' tab.
Can I print notes out for patient files after finishing?
You can print out the notes very easily - just use our export button! Just click on the three dots shown at the top of your note and click ‘Export as’.
