How do I create an account?

To create an account, simply open the Heidi app and tap on "Sign Up." You'll be prompted to enter your email address and create a password. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the registration process.

How can I reset my password?

If you've forgotten your password, tap on the "Forgot Password?" link on the login screen. Enter your registered email address, and we'll send you instructions on how to reset your password.

Will the screen stay on during recording?

We understand how important it is to have an uninterrupted recording experience. With our app, the screen will not fall 'asleep' while you are transcribing or dictating. This feature ensures that you can record audio without any interruptions, making your workflow even better.

What is offline mode?

Offline mode let’s you start and stop sessions without internet connection. Everything will be safely saved, and your notes will be generated as soon as you’re back online.

How does offline mode work?

You can start a new session (either in transcription or dictation mode) even when you’re offline. Your screen will display an “Offline Mode” indicator, and your transcript will be securely saved. Once you're back online, your notes will be automatically generated.

Offline mode also works as a backup for unstable internet connections. If you lose connection during an online session, your work will still be saved locally and synced once the connection is restored.

Why do I get an error message when trying to resume an offline session?

You can only resume an offline session while still offline. If you have reconnected to the internet at any point, the session has to be resumed while online.

You can still manually edit the note by typing and changes will be synced when you are back online.
