Height sends browser and macOS notifications for things like when someone responds to your message, when you get assigned to a task, or @mentioned on a task.

Notification settings can be managed from Personal settings → Notifications.

Browser notifications

If you're using Height on the web, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure "Do Not Disturb" is set to OFF on macOS, or "Focus mode" is set to OFF on Windows.

  2. Check your browser settings to make sure Height notifications are allowed:

    On Chrome: chrome://settings/content/notifications
On Safari: Preferences → Websites → Notifications and set height.app to Allow

  3. Check your Height notification settings in Personal settings → Notifications to make sure "Desktop notifications" are set to either "All new messages (Recommended)" or "Direct @mentions".

macOS app notifications

If you're not receiving the Desktop app notifications, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure "Do Not Disturb" is set to OFF on macOS, or "Focus mode" is set to OFF on Windows.

  2. Check your System Preferences → Notification Center to make sure notifications for Height are allowed.

  3. Check your Height notification settings in Personal settings → Notifications to make sure "Desktop notifications" are set to either "All new messages (Recommended)" or "Direct @mentions".

If you're still not seeing your Height notifications after following these steps, please contact Support for help!
