The bi-weekly pay schedule has 26 pay periods in a year. To calculate the monthly rate of a worker on the bi-weekly schedule, use the following calculation:

Monthly Rate = (Bi-Weekly Rate * 26) / 12

For example, if you have a bi-weekly pay rate of $1,000, your monthly rate would be:

  • $1,000 * 26 = $26,000

  • $26,000 / 12 = $2,166.66
