How do I buy products at the fridge?

  1. REGISTER & CREATE ACCOUNT
    Register your personal customer card and create a HelloFreshGO account.

  2. OPEN FRIDGE & CHOOSE FOOD
    Scan your HelloFreshGO customer card to open the Smart Fridge. Alternatively, open the fridge with your fingerprint. You can now open the door. Choose the product of your choice from a variety of hot meals, sandwiches, wraps, snacks or drinks.

  3. CLOSE FRIDGE & SCAN FOOD
    Close the door to keep the fridge cool- if you leave it open for more than 1 minute, an alarm will go off and you will be logged out automatically. In this case, please log in again by holding your card against the card reader. Hold your selected products with the printed QR code facing up under the scanner on the right side of the fridge.

  4. CHECK SCREEN & LOG OUT
    Check the screen to make sure your scans were successful and all products are listed. Log out by tapping the button at the bottom. You will automatically pay with your stored payment method.

  5. HEAT UP & ENJOY YOUR FOOD
    Enjoy your salads, sandwiches, bagels, wraps and desserts right away. Your main meal still needs to be heated up in the microwave: first prick the plastic wrap with a fork (don't remove it completely yet) and microwave the dish for 3-5 minutes. Now you can remove the foil - bon app├ętit!

Can I open the fridge to look at the products?

You can always open the fridge with your HelloFreshGO card or fingerprint to have a closer look at our products and then scan them to check the price. Please make sure to remove the products you don't want to buy from your shopping cart before you complete the purchase process at the terminal.

Please be aware that the refrigerator will automatically terminate the purchase process after 60 seconds of inactivity. The logged in user will be logged out and all scanned products will automatically be marked as purchased. This is for your own security, so that if you forget to log out, no one else can make purchases with your account. If you made a purchase by accident, contact us at info@hellofreshgo.de.

Can own food be stored in the Smart Fridge?

For food safety, hygiene and security reasons, it is not allowed to store your own food in the Smart Fridge.
