Being transparent with Hosts about job pay and honoring your time is important to Landing HQ. We are making changes and streamlining all areas of our Host platform including Host pay. This article will explain how Hosts are paid no matter the outcome of your job.

Completed Jobs

Hosts will receive full job payment, incentive pay associated with the job when claimed, and any reimbursement amount incurred during the job's duration for all completed jobs.

Canceled Jobs

The following pay guidelines are implemented when a job is canceled by Landing HQ. Hosts are not expected to complete a job canceled by Landing HQ. This policy pertains to ALL Landing hosts and jobs, including Photographers.

If a claimed job is canceled more than three hours prior to the start time of the job by a Host or Landing HQ, the Host will not be paid for the job.

If a job is canceled within three hours of the job's start time by Landing HQ, the Host will be paid for two hours of the job's pay amount not including any incentive pay associated with the job when claimed. If the job is canceled in this time frame by a Host, the Host will not be paid for the job. ****

Unable to Complete Jobs

If a job is unable to be completed due to an error of Landing HQ or deemed unable to be complete by Landing HQ, the Host will be paid for two hours of the job's pay amount, incentive pay associated with the job when claimed, and any reimbursement amount incurred during the job's duration.

Please note that on jobs that have a duration of 1 hour, if they are marketed as Unable to be completed or canceled due to Landing HQ error or deemed impossible to be completed by Landing HQ, the Host will be paid for that 1 hour, on these jobs we cannot apply the 2-hour policy.
