Cleaning Small Kitchen Appliances

Appliances can have stubborn stains and hard to get spots. Here are some tips on cleaning each small kitchen appliances!

When treating tough stains and hard to get spots, always start by allowing the cleaning solution to sit and let it soak for at least 30 minutes. Repeating this process a few times may be necessary. See the recommended cleaning supplies here!

Keurig

  • All K-cups should be taken out of the Keurig and the K-cup holder should be wiped out so that all coffee residue is removed.

  • The water in the water tank should be dumped and dried out.

  • Wipe down the drip tray and outside of the Keurig so all coffee splatter spots and dust are removed.

Toaster

  • All crumbs and burn bread should be dumped out of the toaster. Double-check the crumb tray at the bottom of the toaster, you might have to shake out the crumbs.

  • The outside of the toaster should be clean of all fingerprints and food residue.

Hand-mixer

  • The motor of the hand-mixer should not have any batter, flour, or other food residues on it. Be sure to wipe down and disinfect the hand-mixer.

Base of Blender

  • The base of the blender should not have any drips, dried food, or stains on it. Wipe down the base of the bender including the area the blender container snaps into!
