Landing Storage Units are used to store linens and Member welcome items for turnovers and check-ins!
Something to Remember
Every time you leave a Landing Storage Unit, you should leave it better than you found it! Keeping this space tidy and organized is important for the success of you and other Hosts in your market!
When will you go to a Landing storage unit?
Member Check-in jobs will ask you to pick up welcome items for a new Member.
Laundry Drop Turnover job will include picking up fresh linens and welcome items for a new Member as well as dropping off dirty laundry.
Kitting jobs involve creating welcome kits for Hosts to pick up during future jobs.
Storage Inventory jobs are related to managing and ensuring the storage unit has the correct inventory for upcoming Member needs!
Laundry in the Storage Unit
All linens and towels that are not in a Home are stored in the storage unit! You will pick up clean linens from the storage unit to take to a Home and you'll drop dirty linens off at the storage unit. Laundry is picked up by a laundry service to be washed and is dropped back off for use in a Home at a later date.
Access & lock types
Access to the storage unit will be in your app for a specific job. Pay close attention to the access instructions and be sure to lock the unit before leaving for the day.
There are three types of security locks for our storage units. Go to our Lock Type article below to learn more or troubleshoot the lock.
