1. Assess the Size of the Kitchen

Do you have more than two lower cabinets or will you need to use upper cabinets for some items?

2. Organize the Lower Cabinets

These cabinets are the most important!

3. Organize Kitchen Drawers

4. Stage the Upper Cabinets

6. Stage the Countertops

7. Finishing Touches

Clean appliances, inside and out

  • Refrigerator - Clean out all food. Open all drawers and check all shelves for food residue or stains. Wipe away any streaks or fingerprints on the outside of the refrigerator.

  • Oven - Ensure there is not any baked food on the oven floor, racks, or door.

  • Stovetop - Clean off any food stains and residue including water spots.

  • Dishwasher - Take out any clean dishes and put them away. Check for any water, food, or stains on the bottom of the dishwasher. Check for mold and water in the seals.

  • Microwave - Ensure there are not any food stains or residue on the microwave floor, walls, ceiling, tray, or door. Wipe away any streaks or fingerprints on the outside of the microwave

  • Keurig - Take out any leftover k-cups and wipe out the k-cup holder. Clean off the drip tray and the outside of the Keurig to remove all coffee stains.

  • Toaster - Clean out all crumbs and wipe off the outside of the toaster.

  • Blender - Ensure there are no food particles stuck to the blender or lid. Wipe out the blender motor so there is not food residue or fingerprints.
