Making a Maintenance Request

What you need to know when making a maintenance request!

Maintenance requests are necessary for any issues in a unit that the property is responsible for resolving.

Examples of Issues That Warrant a Maintenance Request

  • Air Conditioner is not working

  • An appliance is not working properly

  • A property provided light is out

  • There are pests in a unit

  • Damage to the floor of the unit

  • Any issues with a smoke alarm

Examples of Issues That Should Not be Maintenance Requests

  • Any issues with furniture or housewares

  • A lamp is not working properly

  • Touch up paint is needed


Creating a Maintenance Request

In each host job, you should see the option at the bottom left of your screen to create a request.

Step 1:

Select Create Request when needing to put in a maintenance request.

Step 2:

View open requests to make sure that the maintenance request you are making is not already one. Select Create Request if it is still needed.

Step 3:

Input all the necessary information for the maintenance request in the areas below. Make sure that you are selecting the appropriate Issue Area and Issue Type. Select Create Maintenance Request when all the necessary information is in place.
