Frequently asked questions regarding the new Turnovers!

What’s different about this turnover?

We are allowing hosts to take more ownership in their cleaning! Before, most turnovers were followed by one if not more than one additional cleaning job. This meant that the turnover host did not always get the credit they deserved after doing a great job!

Also, you are no longer required to get items for the home from a storage unit or Target in your market. All turnovers now include washing linens in the home or at the property's laundry facility. If a home does not have a washer/dryer, please let the home operations team know so that we can add additional pay to your job to do the laundry at a laundromat.

What additional tasks that were previously separate jobs will potentially be asked of me?

Our vision is for you to get the home fully ready for a member to move in after you have completed a turnover. This can include, an upholstery cleaning, deep oven cleaning, and/or paint touch-up (if applicable).

Most additional jobs are multiple hours long, what about those?

Previously, we were asking hosts to go to stores and pick up additional tools to clean, with our updated cleaning supply list, you should have all items needed for success. If you have the correct cleaning supplies, the cleaning should not take that much additional time.

What if the home is a disaster?

You will have a home operations specialist assigned to your turnover. Please let them know as early as you can if the unit is especially dirty. You should receive a chat from them the morning of your turnover.
If we consider the home to abnormally dirty, we will compensate you appropriately via promo pay added to your job.

Why has the pay gone down?

Because you are no longer required to start the job at a separate location and potentially return to that location, turnover job pay has decreased.

What is the benefit for me?

You are more than likely the only host who will clean this unit before the next member checks in, meaning all ratings and bonuses will go to you only. You will have dedicated chat support throughout your job and more ownership in the work that you do for Landing.
