Cleaning Company FAQ

Use this article to understand why Landing works with cleaning companies, and how to apply if you want to clean for Landing as a company.

Who this is for: Hosts who want to grow into a cleaning company, and cleaning company owners who want to work with Landing.

Why Landing works with Cleaning Companies

Landing wants every member to walk into a home knowing a professional cleaner has deep cleaned and sanitised it behind the previous member.

Cleaning companies bring a trained crew and specialist equipment to that work, which lets Landing hold a consistent cleaning standard across every home.

It also gives Hosts more room to focus on the rest of the job, such as checking members in and making sure homes are fully ready.

Is Landing doing away with Hosts?

No. Landing still needs Hosts.

Hosts can still claim cleaning jobs. Cleaning companies work alongside Hosts rather than replacing them, and there are plenty of other jobs for Hosts as well.

How to apply as a Cleaning Company

You need all of the following before you apply.

  • A cleaning rating of at least 4.7. This is your Landing Host rating, so this applies if you are already working with Landing.

  • Off site laundry capabilities

  • A team of at least 4 people who are highly skilled at cleaning and at owning a project through to the end.

Equipment we strongly recommend

A carpet cleaning tool and an ozone machine are not required to apply, but they make a real difference in practice.

Every Landing home is pet friendly, so cleaning jobs regularly involve pet hair and pet odour.

Without a carpet cleaning tool and an ozone machine, those jobs are much harder to finish to Landing's standard.

If you do not have them yet, it is worth getting them.

If you meet the requirements above, apply using the form below.
