How to Succeed in your Turnover Zoom Call

Purpose of the Zoom Call

This task is in place to help capture your amazing cleaning of the Landing! As well as, any of the incomplete areas in the unit that are not able to be completed. This should help YOU document your cleaning to ensure you receive the best review rating for your job well done!

Before the Call

  • Turn on all lights.

  • Turn on all TVs.

  • Turn on the AC.

  • Open all Cabinets and Drawers.

  • Open appliances doors/lids(Oven, Dishwasher, Microwave).

  • Connect to Wifi, perform a speed test, and send pic through chat.

  • Open closet doors.

Send your HQ specialist assigned for the day a message, give us at least a 30 min heads up once you're ready for the zoom.

These are the areas we'll focus on during our zoom walkthrough

We suggest you print this out and bring to your next Turnover!

  • Begin with the Front Door

    • Capture

      • Any blemishes with the front door or the door frame

      • If there are any issues in the hallway

      • Any access/lock problems

  • Entryway

    • Capture

      • Behind the door (Floor Corner)

      • Walls

      • Baseboard cleanliness

  • Utility closet / Washer Dryer closet

    • Capture

      • Vacuum, mop, broom (should be cleaned out)

      • Washer lid and edges around seal free of residue, hair, soap, smell

      • Dryer lid and edges around seal free of residue, hair, lint (int trap), smell

  • Kitchen

    • Capture

      • Keurig (Drip Tray, Inside, check for a pod)

      • Appliances (Are they working)

        • Interior & exterior of all appliances

      • Plumbing Check

        • Check kitchen sink- Specifically checking for Water Temperature, Water Pressure, Water Color and Water Odor

        • Garbage Disposal

      • Inside of all cabinets/ drawers

        TIP- Be sure to raise your hand up when you are showing the inside of the cabinets to capture the top shelve

        • Glassware (turned upside down, clean)

        • Cleaned with no fingerprints

          • If dishes have blemishes please re-wash

      • Knives, knife block

      • Oven mitt, dish towels

      • Trash Can (clean with liner) Check under lid

      • Valet Trash Can (If present)

      • Walls

      • Countertop

      • Backsplash

      • Floors

      • Barstools / Dining Table & Chairs

  • Living Room Check

    • Capture

      • Check all of the lights to ensure they are in good condition (including lamps)

  • Bedroom

    • Capture

      • Check the lights to ensure in they are in good condition

      • All Furniture items

        • Bed, Dresser, Night Stands (Checking for hair, debris, trash)

      • Under All Furniture items

        • Bed, Dresser, Night Stands (Checking for hair, debris, trash)

      • Inside all of the Furniture drawers

      • Windows/ blinds, check functionality

        • Corner to Corner

      • Closet

        • Laundry Basket, Hangers

        • Iron Ironing board

      • Linen Quality

      • Vents

      • Walls

      • Floors/ baseboards (Checking for hair, debris, trash)

  • Bathroom

    • Capture

      • Check the lights to ensure in they are in good condition

      • Plumbing Check

        • Check bathroom sink(s), shower head(s), and tub spout(s): Specifically checking for: Water Temperature, Water Pressure, Water Color and Water Odor and Toilet(s) Flush properly

      • Sink, counterparts, and mirror

      • Trash can

      • Toilet, toilet paper holder, the rim of the toilet and under the toilet seat

      • Bathtub/ Shower

        • Walls and surfacing

        • Curtain/ Liner/ Door

      • Linen Quality

      • Vents

      • Walls

      • Floors/ baseboards (Hair, debris, trash)

    Repeat the tasks listed above for each bedroom/ bathroom in the unit!

  • Patio (If applicable)

    • Capture

      • All of the furniture (If present)

      • The floor and the ceiling, corner to corner

  • Maintenance Check

    • Light Check

      • Turn on all Lights in the unit (These include but are not limited to: patio lighting, lamps, under cabinet lighting, recessed lighting, vanity lighting, closet lighting )

    • AC filter Check (If applicable)

      • Go to the AC unit and check the filter then capture the quality

    • All Outlets in the unit are functioning properly

    • Pests are NOT present in the unit

      • Check under all cabinets

  • Unit Floor Check

    • Wet a paper towel and begin with the entryway and wipe the floor, then head to the following rooms in order Kitchen, Dining area, Living area, Bedroom 1, Bathroom 1 (Repeat for each bedroom and bathroom in the unit) finally balcony (if applicable)

      • Face the paper towel to the camera after wiping to inspect the cleanliness

        • If dirt is present, please re-mop floors.
