You can upgrade or downgrade your plan from your Billing Page on the Hellopeter Web Portal anytime. You can also cancel your Plan anytime by reaching out via our live chat inside Portal or sending an email to billing@hellopeter.com.

If you’re on our Growth Plan and on the monthly billing cycle, this will be cancelled at the end of your monthly billing cycle. If you’re on our Growth Plan or Premium Plan on the annual billing cycle, this will be cancelled at the end of your annual billing cycle.

Changing your Plan billing period

When you change your plan, it goes into effect immediately. If you upgrade or downgrade from one monthly tier to another monthly tier, your billing cycle date will take effect from the date your upgrade or downgrade took place.

As an example, you upgrade your Growth tier 1 monthly plan to a Growth tier 2 monthly plan on 10/11/2020, your billing cycle will run from the 10/11/2020 to 10/12/2020.

Hellopeter offers a discount for Growth annual plans. If you're on the monthly plan, you can click the “Edit Plan” text link on your Web Portal, under the Billing Page and choose the Annual option for your selected plan.

When you switch plans with a different billing cycle (e.g. from monthly Growth to annual Growth), your billing cycle date will take effect from the date your plan changed.

As an example, you changed your Growth tier 1 monthly plan to a Growth tier 1 annual plan on 10/11/2020, your billing cycle will run from the 10/11/2020 to 10/11/2021.

What happens if I don’t renew my subscription?

If you don’t renew your subscription before your billing cycle date, your account will be suspended. You will need to log into the Hellopeter Portal and select a plan to gain access to your account. Bear in mind that your billing cycle date will change to the date of your upgrade.

What happens if I renew my subscription in advance?

If you renew your subscription in advance of your billing cycle date, your renewal will only take effect from your current billing cycle date and not the date which payment was received. In other words, your existing subscription will continue to be in effect until your renewal subscription activates on your billing cycle date.

Example 1 - you currently on a Growth tier 1 monthly plan with a billing cycle of 10/11/2020 to 10/12/2020. If you pay prior to your renewal date of 10/12/2020, your monthly plan will renew on 10/12/2020 and your next renewal will take place on 10/01/2021.

Example 2 - you currently on a Premium tier 1 plan with a billing cycle of 10/11/2020 to 10/11/2021. If you pay prior to your renewal date of 10/11/2021, your Premium plan will renew on 10/11/2021 and your next renewal will take place on 10/12/2022.

However, for annual plans only, If you renew your subscription in advance of your billing cycle date and your existing subscription has no review credits remaining, your new subscription will activate and the billing cycle of the new subscription will change to the date the new subscription was activated.

When will I receive an invoice to renew my subscription?

For annual plans paid by EFT, you will receive an invoice and reminder 60 days in advance of your renewal date. We will send you additional reminders 30, 10 and 1 day before your subscription is due to expire.

For monthly plans paid by EFT, you will receive your monthly invoice 10 days in advance of your billing cycle date.

For annual and monthly plans paid via credit card, you will receive your invoice on your billing cycle date once the credit card transaction has been processed.

Does my subscription renew automatically on my billing cycle date?

Yes - if your payment method is credit card. If you'd like to stop the auto renewal of your plan please ensure this is done prior to your next billing cycle date by reaching out via our live chat inside Portal or sending an email to billing@hellopeter.com.

Do review credits, reply credits and review invites carry over when my subscription renews?

No. Unused review credits, reply credits and review invites do not carry over when your subscription renews.

Do you apply proration?

There is no proration. When you sign-up or change paid plans your billing cycle date will be the date of sign-up or date of change. (e.g. If you sign-up for a monthly plan on the 10th of a month, your next billing cycle will be the 10th of the following month. If you sign-up for an annual plan on the 10th of a month, your next billing cycle will be the 10th of the same month in the following year).
