Adding patients to pathways

An update to our ‘Create folder’ flow

We’ve updated how you can add patients to the wide range of digital pathways on Isla.

Our ‘Create folder’ flow on Isla has been renamed ‘Add patient to pathway’. The templates you use haven’t changed, but you’ll see a new interface which will allow you to better visualise the patient’s digital pathway.

You will see this in three places across Isla:

On the patient list page, when adding multiple patients to a pathway:

Step by step

When adding patient(s) to a pathway via any of the three places mentioned above, you will select a blue button. For example, in the patient record shown below, you will see this button in the bottom left hand corner of your screen:

From here, choose the team you’d like to add the pathway from:

You’ll see your list of pathways (templates), and the option to preview them:

Clicking the ‘preview pathway’ button will show you all the future requests, messages or actions that will be automatically applied:

If the pathway has future items, you’ll see this page where you can confirm contact details for the patient:

If you don’t want to use a predefined pathway, or you don’t have any set on any of your teams, you can skip straight to this page and simply choose a name for the pathway:
