Receive Travel Rule data transfers using the dashboard

You are receiving Travel Rule data transfers because, as the crypto Travel Rule starts being enforced across jurisdictions, your counterparties are required to send you Travel Rule data transfers and receive a timely response from you to be able to continue transacting in a compliant manner.

You may be receiving Travel Rule data transfers:

  • via email;

  • in your Notabene dashboard.

Below we provide you with instructions on how to receive and respond to these Travel Rule data transfers in each of these scenarios. We also explain how you can stop receiving Travel Rule data transfers in your email and start receiving them in a all-in-one, free dashboard, through Notabene’s by creating a profile.

Receiving Travel Rule transfers in the dashboard

Log-in to your dashboard to review incoming Travel Rule data transfers.

When a counterparty sends you a Travel Rule data transfer:

  1. You will see a new Travel Rule data transfer in Transactions > Inbox, identified by a purple arrow going from right to left (from a counterparty to your customer).

  2. Once you click on the information icon, you are asked to confirm whether the beneficiary blockchain address belongs to your company. This is to ensure that the Travel Rule data transfer is being sent to the correct VASP.

  1. If you confirm that the beneficiary blockchain address belongs to your company, you’ll have access to the Travel Rule information

  2. Then, your team can review the Travel Rule transfer details and decide to approve or decline the transfer

  3. Once you approve or decline the Travel Rule transfer, it will move to a different folder according to its status.
