1. The email address associated with your VASP profile in Notabene’s Network will receive an email from Notabene with the following subject line: [Counterparty VASP Name] sent you Travel Rule transfer information via Notabene”.

2. Once you receive a transfer request by email, you are asked to confirm whether the beneficiary blockchain address belongs to your company. This is to ensure that the Travel Rule data transfer is being sent to the correct VASP.

3. If you confirm that the beneficiary blockchain address belongs to your company, a secure session is initiated whereby you’ll have access to the Travel Rule information.

This step is necessary for you to acknowledges receipt of the transfer and saves the Travel Rule information for your record-keeping. For security reasons, this link is set to expire within 72 hours. If you do not open the emails and receive acknowledge the receipt of the transfer within 72h of receipt, you will lose access to the transfer.

4. Then, your team can review the Travel Rule transfer details and decide to approve or decline the transfer.
