When looking at transfers, in the “Transfers” tab, you will notice a column entitled “Status” which reflects the current situation of each transfer.
It's important to note that beneath the status itself, you'll find additional information detailing how that status was achieved. This can be attributed to your counterparty, your team through manual review, or automated processing by the rules engine..
When you are the Originator VASP (the sender) you can see the following statuses:

Ready to send | NEW | Outgoing section: | The data transfer has been created and is waiting for your approval. |
Request sent | SENT | Outgoing section: | The data transfer information has been sent to the Beneficiary VASP. |
Request received | ACK | Outgoing section: | The data transfer has been acknowledged by the Beneficiary VASP. |
Declined | DECLINED | Outgoing section: | The data transfer has been declined by the Beneficiary VASP. |
Accepted | ACCEPTED | Outgoing section: | The data transfer has been accepted by the Beneficiary VASP. |
Rejected | REJECTED | Outgoing section: | The data transfer has been rejected as the VASP does not own the the wallet address. |
Canceled | CANCELED | Outgoing section: | The data transfer has been cancelled by the Originator VASP |
Waiting for information | WAITING_FOR_INFORMATION | Outgoing section: | Transfer to a VASP that is not reachable. Notabene is searching for the relevant contact point. |
Missing data | INCOMPLETE | Outgoing section: | A corresponding travel rule transfer was not found and the originator VASP was identified. |
Missing beneficiary data | MISSING_BENEFICIARY_DATA | Outgoing section: | There is missing beneficiary data. |
Not ready to respond | NOT_READY | Outgoing section: | The beneficiary VASP is not ready to respond to this transfer. Additional reasons might be provided. |
Stored | SAVED | Outgoing section: | It refers to an unhosted wallet or a transaction below the threshold. |
When you are the Beneficiary VASP (the receiver) you can see the following statuses:

Incomplete | INCOMPLETE | Incoming section: | A transaction has been identified on chain but it cannot be determined if it’s from a custodial or non-custodial wallet and/or is missing Travel Rule data transfer. |
New transfer | SENT | Incoming section: | The data transfer has been sent by the Originator VASP and is awaiting your response. |
Address verified | ACK | Incoming section: | You received and acknowledged the data transfer. |
Accepted | ACCEPTED | Incoming section: | You have approved the data transfer. |
Rejected | REJECTED | Incoming section: | You have rejected the data transfer. |
Declined | DECLINED | Incoming section: | The data transfer has been declined by the Beneficiary VASP. |
Cancelled | CANCELED | Incoming section: Completed | The originator VASP cancelled the travel rule transfer. |
Stored | SAVED | Incoming section: Completed | Transfers that are exempt from the travel rule requirements. |
